Construction of a new district in Doubs (25)
R-VRAC - UNUSED ATTICS
project area 3,500 m²
This large-scale project, led by Eiffage as part of the creation of a new district, illustrates the commitment of builders to sustainable solutions. The company EGN was commissioned to carry out the insulation of the unused attics, relying on our bio-based solution to guarantee top-tier thermal performance upon delivery.
Project challenges: Aiming for thermal excellence (R10)
On this 3,500 m² new construction project, requirements were at their highest. To meet Eiffage's environmental ambitions, EGN implemented insulation with a very high performance objective: a thermal resistance of R=10m²K/W.
Integrating such a level of insulation from the construction phase provides future occupants with unparalleled comfort. In winter, the building retains its heat with formidable efficiency, while in summer, R-Vrac acts as a thermal shield against heatwaves. Choosing R10 for new builds means anticipating future regulations and ensuring the durability and value of the property.

Flagship product: R-VRAC
For this modern district, the choice of R-VRAC was an obvious one. Derived from the circular economy, this insulation is made from recycled textiles (20 garments per bag).
It is a solution that ticks all the boxes: exceptional thermal performance, effective phase shift for summer comfort, and an exemplary carbon footprint thanks to its bio-based origin.
