BIO-BASED INSULATION - RECYCLED TEXTILE
R-VRAC is thermal and acoustic insulation, made from cotton wool sourced from textile recycling. A healthy, eco-friendly alternative to conventional wool insulation.
With a lambda of 0.048W/(m.K), ACERMI-certified, good thermal phase shift, excellent sound insulation, and effective water vapour management.
This product is installed by manual spreading or pneumatic blowing:
- on the floors of uninhabited, non-converted attics or areas that are difficult to access
- on plasterboard ceilings on framing compliant with NF DTU 25.41
Its flake format ensures even distribution and limits thermal bridging. Lightweight, soft, low-dust and non-irritating, R-VRAC provides a clean and comfortable installation.

APPLICATION IN UNUSED LOFT SPACES
The R-VRAC process (ATEx 3058) stands out as an innovative thermal insulation solution made of cotton wool, offering an eco-friendly and effective alternative to conventional insulation materials.
Specifically designed for blowing onto the floors of unused loft spaces, as well as between joists and trusses, this system adapts precisely to the requirements of both new builds and renovation projects:
- Residential buildings: Ideal for insulating single-family homes or multi-family buildings.
- Non-residential buildings: Offices and commercial premises.
- Public-access buildings (ERP): Compliant for any ERP whose top floor is less than 8 m above ground level. This process is not intended for specific industrial buildings (food processing, agricultural, corrosive environments or metal-frame structures).

THERMAL PERFORMANCE AND COMFORT
Efficient in winter and summer
With a conductivity of 0.048 W/(m.K) and a thermal lag of 6 to 8 hours, R-VRAC provides a barrier against winter cold and blocks summer heat.
Natural humidity regulation
Thanks to the hygroscopic properties of cotton wool, your home "breathes" better, helping to avoid condensation problems.
Outstanding sound insulation
The fibrous structure of recycled cotton absorbs airborne and impact noise, providing superior acoustic comfort.

EASE OF INSTALLATION
Flexible installation (spreading or blowing)
The product can be installed either by hand spreading or by pneumatic blowing to reach hard-to-access areas.
Ultra-light and easy to handle
At only 4.8 kg/m² for a resistance of R=7, it does not overload ceilings and makes transport to site easier.
