PROJECTS #BUILDING
Construction of a New District in the Doubs (25)
R-VRAC - UNUSED ATTICS
site area 3500m²
This major project, led by Eiffage as part of the creation of a new district, illustrates constructors' commitment to sustainable solutions. The company EGN was commissioned to insulate the unused attics, relying on our bio-sourced solution to guarantee cutting-edge thermal performance upon delivery.
Project Challenges: Aiming for Thermal Excellence (R10)
On this new construction project spanning 3500 m², the requirements were maximal. To meet Eiffage's environmental ambitions, EGN implemented insulation with a very high performance objective: a thermal resistance of R=10m²K/W.
Integrating such a high level of insulation from the construction phase allows future occupants to enjoy unparalleled comfort. In winter, the building retains its heat with remarkable efficiency, while in summer, R-Vrac acts as a thermal shield against heatwaves. Choosing R10 for new builds means anticipating future regulations and guaranteeing the longevity and value of the real estate asset.

Flagship Product: R-VRAC
For this modern district, the choice of R-VRAC was an obvious one. Originating from the circular economy, this insulation is made from recycled textiles (20 garments for one bag).
It is a solution that ticks all the boxes: exceptional thermal performance, effective phase shift for summer comfort, and an exemplary carbon footprint thanks to its bio-sourced origin.
