Project Challenges: Aiming for Thermal Excellence (R10)
As part of this energy renovation project on a recent 200m² building, we supported our clients in an ambitious approach to enhancing their home. The precise technical objective was: to achieve a thermal resistance of R=10m²K/W.
This level of performance, which far exceeds conventional standards, was specifically chosen to offer maximum energy efficiency. In winter, this insulation guarantees optimal thermal comfort and a drastic reduction in heating needs. In summer, it acts as a true shield against solar radiation, a now crucial issue for maintaining natural indoor coolness during periods of high heat. This achievement demonstrates that excellent insulation remains the best lever for preserving one's heritage while adapting to current climate challenges.

Flagship Product: R-VRAC
To meet the requirements of this public building, the R-VRAC was chosen, our bulk insulation solution derived from the circular economy.
The R-VRAC is a bio-sourced insulation made from recycled textiles (approximately 20 recycled garments per bag). It is an ecological and high-performance alternative to conventional insulation, perfectly suited for blowing into unfinished attics.
