PROJECTS #SPINNING
From memory to creation: Dagobaire spins the fashion of tomorrow
Every garment we wear is the guardian of a story.
There are a child's jeans, marked by a heroic dive to save a football goal. The dress of an expectant mother caressing her rounded belly. The first tie of a student fresh out of their first job interview. Grandma's knitwear, buttoned in front of the mirror with the smile of a life well-lived. Or even that polo shirt worn down by backpack straps, a witness to so many hikes to discover the world.
Clothing is not just a simple piece of fabric: it accompanies our emotions, our memories, and our life journeys.
An African proverb says that "when an old man dies, a library burns down." At Dagobaire, we believe that a garment's story should not end when it is donated or collected. We work every day to extend the life of these textiles and the vibrations of life that their fibers have captured.
Passing a story into new fashion creations
Our profession as a spinner is not limited to adding value to a raw material; we transmit narratives.
After meticulous sorting, the several hundred tons of fibers extracted from collected clothing are reintegrated into new yarns. These high-quality yarns are specifically designed for the manufacture of ready-to-wear and everyday apparel: warm knitwear and sweaters, comfortable beanies, or new durable jeans. Recycling a garment means offering it the opportunity to warm us and beautify us once again.
Technical performance at the service of circular fashion
Technical performance at the service of circular fashion
To meet the requirements of fashion brands without compromising on quality, Dagobaire deploys rigorous industrial expertise. Giving life back to a worn fiber requires great mastery, and our material performance demonstrates that recycled textiles are an excellent alternative to virgin resources.
At Dagobaire, circular fashion takes on its full meaning: we do not just recycle, we weave the link between the past and the future, transforming your most beautiful memories into new textile creations.
